Von Sheppard – Assistant Superintendent Boulder School District
Von is a former NFL player. He played with the Vikings for six months after which he went overseas to play professional football. After a career in sports and coaching, he turned to education. As a principal at a school in Minnesota that was in trouble, he lead the group that turned it around and his system has been used as a model system in the United States since then. We are fortunate to have him in the Boulder County School system at this point where he brings all of his background in education to the forefront in his duties. Currently he is writing a book and is a professional inspirational and motivational speaker.

Cassie Parker
Bullying and cyberbullying are becoming ever increasingly serious problems in the lives of our teens. Cassie is uniquely qualified to talk about this. She’s a young dedicated actress that loves what she does. Also, she’s the host of a talk show on Voices Of Reality. Cassie is an active member of the “Youth 4 Parker” a young city council committee that coordinates community outreach. Early in her career, Cassandra had aspirations of going to New York and L.A., but now at 14, Cassandra feels that her calling is here in Colorado. With her “talk show behind the mask”, Cassie’s ultimate goal is to improve and positively impact the lives of the people around her.
